'Daawat-e-Ishq' trailer launched

The trailer of Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Daawat-E-Ishq’ has been unveiled at an Iftaar party hosted by filmmaker Aditya Chopra on Monday. Directed by ‘Ishaqzaade’ fame director Habib Faisal, the forthcoming film is the love story of a salesgirl who belongs to Hyderabad and a boy of Lucknow who is a cook by profession. The movie which revolves around food and romance is expected to hit the silver screens on September 5 of this year.

Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur’s first film together Daawat-e-Ishq is directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra. Now the makers have released the first trailer but is it entertaining? Well, it is but at the same time a lil confusing. In the trailer, you get to see Ms Chopra who is looking for a groom but fails to find one as she ends up meeting dowry-seeking men. Anupam Kher plays Parineeti’s father in the film and we totally loved his look. As for Pari, she is her usual self – chirpy, loud and very desi. Then there is Aditya too who is playing a Lucknowi chef in the film and going by the trailer wethinks the talented lad has nailed his role perfectly. His look, dialogue delivery and expressions are to watch out for. Surprisingly, the B-town hunk is so good that he overshadows his co-star Parineeti. Adi and Pari do fall in love and sing around trees but there is a twist in the kahaani.
