South Korean handset maker Samsung Electronics today launched in India a new smartphone, featuring a specialised camera with 10X zoom, for Rs 29,999.
Galaxy K zoom, which will be available from Wednesday, offers an advanced technical camera system designed to offer the control and functionality of a professional camera.
Featuring a 4.8-inch screen, the handset has a hexacore processor (1.3 GHz quad core + 1.7 GHz dual core processor) and is based on the latest Android Kitkat operating system. It sports 2GB RAM and 8GB internal memory (expandable up to 64GB) and 20.7 MP rear camera with 10x optical zoom and 2 MP front camera. Last year, Samsung had launched another smartphone with specialised camera capabilities -- Samsung S4 Zoom which featured a 16MP camera with 10X optical zoom. It was priced at Rs 29,900.
